hello. i am new to NFC and i am sure i installed the mod correctly. but whenever i go to launch the game, it crashes before it starts. i have no idea why it does this(there is no crash log) but it does.
EDIT: interestingly. i got it to work using the previous launcher

i installed 1.8.5_01 and it didn't work using new launcher for linux. but then i tried the old minecraft.jar launcher thing and it worked just fine

When you launch it with the old launcher, what version does it say in the upper left corner?

Uh I'm quite confused at what might be happening, what "old launcher" are you referring to? Also are you using the install video thats on the forums?
