So when I'm connected to the internet the game starts up just fine, But when I start the game with out an internet connection I get the error below. I don't have this problem with any other version of minecaft. Including generic 1.7.3 beta, and again it only happens when you start the game with out internet.

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 1

at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.main(Minecraft.java:1397)

The game gives me the same crash using oracle java 8 as well as OpenJDK8

I don't know if this matters but I'm running on Solus a gnu/linux os.

I can't tell you exactly why this is happening, or very much as I'm not Zowja, but I do know that the reason we can have our skins in NFC is that Zowja enabled NFC to connect to the verification servers, so maybe this is the game being unable to skip verification if it can't connect.

I'm having a similar issue. It's pretty much the same except I got rid of the incremental cms thing by switching to a 1.7 java exe. Can't find fixes for the other error.
