Things are a bit quiet at the moment, and that's mostly because college. But nevertheless, I am still working mildly in the background. I have successfully gotten an NFC server back online! It is a development version of 1.8.5 at the moment that is mildly unstable. I need to do quite a few tests to see what I need to remove in order to stabilize it at the moment (by reversing for fixing code made for the Alpha biome), and the current priority is to get 1.8.5 stabilized, remove Alpha biome generation for now, and get some new things generating into the terrain to find. Once that has been achieved, 1.8.5 will be done! I am currently having thought of moving the NFC administration group that slowly makes decisions and tests in the background onto the forums so you guys can see our ideas and possibly help participate in tests to push 1.8.5 out sooner! The plan is depending on when I get 1.8.5 done, with a proper ad, I and whoever else would like to join the push for NFC will get it out into the internet and get a community rolling during one of two a breaks: Thanksgiving or Christmas. If NFC 1.8.5 is not completed by the time Christmas rolls around, I will probably leave its development for a while because that just means it takes way too long to develop.
